Something that we didn't get to last night but I was hoping to touch on is how do we create a space like under the Boab tree for our children? Didn't it sound so lovely the way Dr. Shanker described sitting there, in silence, and having the time to think and reflect without being asked 100 questions? I wonder if we ever give children enough time to sit in silence and think, or give them the opportunity to sit in silence with us until they are ready to talk.
