When I became a Stress Detective,
I learned to listen
- not just to the sound of words -
but to listen with my eyes to the bodies of others
to “hear limbic” with my heart.

When I began to Reflect,
I learned to see myself through my muscles,
my pounding heart, my dry mouth, and my butterfly stomach.
I learned to look into the mirror in my heart
to find my emotions.
And then I learned
to relisten, resee, resmell, refeel, and reconsider my world.
